Mount Lebanon Church

Established in 1812; made new everyday!

The Little Church with a Big Heart

Our church is grounded in weekly worship and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We live as witnesses to God’s faithful power for the betterment of ourselves and our community.

Through practices of personal devotion and congregational worship, we are healed and strengthened, so that we may go forth as God’s light in the world. We joyfully and obediently respond to promptings from the Holy Spirit with acts of compassion, justice, hospitality, and prayer. We feed the hungry and shelter the homeless. And we seek opportunities to study and enhance our spiritual growth.

Frequent monthly and annual ministries include:

  • "Food & Fun Nights"
  • Covenant Discipleship Groups meeting weekly through the year
  • Hosting Habitat for Humanity work teams from out of state
  • Dinners served at the Ronald McDonald House
  • Co-host Family Promise rotating shelter four times yearly
  • Community Easter Egg Hunt
  • 24/7 prayer chain
  • Bi-weekly Food Closet with Brandywine Community UMC
  • Annual service days at Sunday Breakfast Mission
  • Weekly Bible Study on Wednesday mornings
  • Sunday School study groups for all ages

These Christian acts of faith are encouraged for all persons of any age, nationality, background or circumstance. If you would like to deepen your faith and experience the Living God, we openly invite you to join us and begin (or continue) your walk with God.
