Reaching Out to Others

A church is much more than just a building. We are a deeply blessed intergenerational church family and strive to be the body of Christ here in this place, throughout our community and in the world as we share the love and light of Jesus Christ.

We open our doors to invite others to the life-giving word of Jesus Christ:

  • Special welcome gift bags to all visitors
  • Distribution of free Bibles and home devotional books
  • Dynamic weekly worship services of a variety of types
  • Follow up notes and home visits
  • Sunday school study groups
  • Bi-monthly prayer and fasting sessions
  • Covenant discipleship groups

We reach out to those who need Christ's life-renewing presence:

  • Weekly Bible study at Shipley Manor Nursing Home
  • Bi-monthly worship service at Shipley Manor Nursing Home
  • Eucharistic Ministers taking Communion to the homebound
  • Yearly prayer retreat open to the community

As United Methodists, we understand that "we may not all believe exactly the same thing, but we believe in God and each other. If you are searching for something to believe in, our hearts, our minds and our doors are always open." (United Methodist Communications ) Join us this Sunday and see what you've been missing.
