Planting the Seeds of Faith

How often have we heard, "If you want to go somewhere in life, you need to have a good education" ? If this adage is true, then it would certainly stand to reason, that in order to cultivate a strong relationship with God, we must learn how.

Sunday school provides a structure for the development of faith for persons of all ages. It provides biblical study that matches the student's level of understanding, and it offers an environment where they can explore answers and engage in dialogue with other students. And, perhaps most importantly, it teaches students to trust in the Lord and to follow His example.

Mount Lebanon offers study groups for all ages. Adult and youth (grades 7-12) classes begin each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Children's Sunday school (grades K-6) is held following the Children's Time in the worship service. The children are escorted to their classroom upstairs where fun activities for religious education are held. The Sunday school material covers most of the Old and New Testament Biblical stories in a three-year curriculum cycle. Nursery care is also provided for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Mount Lebanon invites you to come sit in on a class or study group. Remember, it's not just about what you learn, but what you share. Because the journey of faith should not be walked alone...
